01. What is the Altimate Run?
The Altimate Run is a new kind of stair-climbing event that turns iconic arenas into fitness playgrounds. The course is divided into blocks of 1,000 steps that lead through different staircases and stand areas of the stadium. Everyone starts together – how far you go is up to you. The premiere took place on May 16, 2026 at the RheinEnergieSTADION in Cologne. You'll find all the details on the official Altimate Run page.
The principle: you set your own limit
At the end of each block a "decision gate" is waiting: stop & celebrate – or push on into the next 1,000 steps. Add power-boost zones with music and a badge system on the bib that shows how many blocks you completed. The format is built for everyone, from first-timers to seasoned athletes.
Good to know
Cologne was just the start: in 2026 the Altimate Run also stops in Düsseldorf (Merkur Spiel-Arena) and Berlin (Olympiastadion).
02. Ractiveone as on-site recovery partner
A stair climb loads the legs and calves above all – after the last block, the muscles are tired. That's exactly where Ractiveone came in: with our recovery booth in the stadium, we were the recovery partner right by the course. Anyone who wanted to could sit down after the run and put their legs up. If you want to go deeper, it's worth looking at the fundamentals of recovery and at how intermittent pneumatic compression works.
"That's exactly what we're here for: helping tired legs feel a little fresher after the last block."

03. Revive Active put to the test
The Revive Active recovery boots wrap around the legs and calves and work with alternating air pressure that rhythmically compresses the tissue. After a day full of stairs, the test ran itself: many participants sat down at the booth, slipped into the boots and let the compression do its thing. Used this way, it may support active recovery after intense exertion and can feel pleasant – without any promise of a medical effect.
"What we enjoyed most: many people came for ten minutes of recovery – and then stayed to chat. That blend of recovery and community is what makes an event like this special."

04. Community feeling & upcoming events
What stays with you after the Altimate Run isn't just the step count. It's the atmosphere at the finish: participants with a badge on their bib, celebrating their level, cheering each other on and swapping stories from the climb. That's exactly the feeling we want to carry forward with the Ractiveone community – at the next event and online alike.
